Hi Folks,

There's something I must be missing.

In the parts of this piece I'm working on, I have differences in staff sizes that shouldn't be there.

I did resize to 100% on all of them but to no effect.

Could someone show me what I'm missing?

Thanks,
Best,
apkyburz

Did you create the linked parts after making changes? it could be one part was created before others. You may need to regenerate parts with the new settings, or go into the part with the wrong settings and fix it there. This would have to be done in the part itself.

To fix, view the part with the wrong formatting.
Switch to the Page Layout Tool, and use the command
Page Layout menu > Redefine Pages > All Pages

That will undo all the page formatting, though, which it looks like he has put some effort into. Is there a way to resize the staff without losing all that?

Is it the Staff or the System? Either way, the Resize tool is good for that, if that is all there is. Things behave differently between Resizing Staves and Resizing Systems.

I see. The messy ones are all single staffs, no systems.

Thanks for the redefine hint, might be a little late for that, but I'll remember that next time.

Thanks folks,

FWI, I realized on the project template was the same problem. Redefining pages got it all straightened out, thanks!
