Lines in Lyrics not dissapearing when edited
Moderators: Peter Thomsen, miker
In my final score, my lyric lines are plastered with underlines which need to be removed. I have used the Lyrics Tool, - edit word extensions but my cursor is turning into a spear and coloring the small boxes is infrequently successful.

Turn off Smart Word Extensions. If you need them in some places, then maybe we need to examine your file to help troubleshoot.

I respectfully disagree. Unless you don’t want word extensions at all, leave Smart Word Extensions on, and learn how to properly handle lyrics and extensions.
I have done many hundreds of scores using SWE, and have no problems.
As Zuill says, seeing the score is the only way we can properly advise you. And even then, he and I will probably disagree!

Another approach is to choose to only launch Word Extensions where you purposely want them. This has some similarities to the old method of Word Extensions.
