I'm thinking of up-dating the OS on my MacBook from Mac OS 10.14 to 10.15 while 10.15 is still easily available, and at the same time up-dating from Finale 26.2 to 26.3. Are there any likely hazards for which I should watch? Will Finale 25.5 also still function on OS 10.15?

I expect to leave my desktop Mac Mini running OS 10.13 with Finale 25.5 & 26.2 - or might it be useful to up-date to 26.3 there too (while still running OS 10.13)?

Any advice or comments will be welcome. I like the MacBook to be reasonably up-to-date for reasons of security when travelling (not that I'm doing much of that during Covid).

1) According to the MakeMusic website, Finale 25.5 is not compatible with MaOS 10.15.

2) The update from 26.2 to 26.3.1 should not be a problem, in your current or planned configuration.

FWIW, I'm running Finale 26.3.1.643 on Mac OS 10.15.6 with no problems.

I've up-dated to 26.3 now on my MacBook and will do the same soon on my desktop Mac. The expert in all things Mac from whom I routinely seek advice suggests that there's no real necessity for me to up-date to Catalina just now.
