Hi. For some reason an odd note appears at the end of the 2nd line (between meas.7-8) in the lower staff.
How do I remove it? See attached.

With the Simple Entry tool, Ctrl-click near the end of the measure. The note should turn red. Press Delete (or Mac equivalent).

In the future, make sure the Simple or Speedy entry option "Check for extra notes" is set; then this won't happen.

Well, I am red color-blind but fortunately for me it turned blue not red. Ctrl-click didn't work but Opt-click did. Thanks, and Delete worked.

I would do it just a bit differently:

Double click the half note G, to select it. Use the right arrow key to advance to that extra note. DELETE.

Musicus, you might want to look in Preferences > Display colors, and see if you might be able to swap out the Selected Items color for something you can see, better.

Interesting. I tried it, and it sounded and placed a G at the beginning of the measure over the Eb. Then scrolling right I was able to delete the bad note. On the other hand, I clicked once on the G half-note, and the cursor moved back over the Eb w/o sounding, and then I was able to scroll right to delete the pesky note. Either way, you done well. Thank you.

If you double click on that G half note, you should only need to tap the arrow once to get to the "spare" note.

That didn't work. I had to tap 3x to the right to get to the culprit.

The same measure in the upper staff also has too many beats (5) when the TS is 4/4. The last note should be changed to a quarter note.

You're right, I don't know how that happened.
