Force a measure number to show

I have measure numbers set to show at the beginning of each system. Is there a way to force a measure number to show elsewhere, short of making another region with that measure only, or using a special rehearsal mark? I have system starts with an unnumbered pickup, so I'd like to show the number on the measure after.

When in the Measure Tool, ctrl-click the measure needing the number. Or, select the measure in the Measure Tool, and, frrom the Measure Tool Menu, choose Show Measure Numbers.
