Hello everybody,

I have made a nice treble clef with little 15va on top which I would like to use in more than a single Finale file. Is there any way of transporting clef from a file to file or do I have to redesign it all over again in every new file from scratch?

Any ideas are very welcome, thanks.

Actually it should be 15ma (= quindicesima), not 15va.

1) Library solution:

In the source document (= open the source document):

File menu > Save Library…
Give your library a name and a place to live.

In the target document (= open the target document):

File menu > Load Library…
Locate your new library, and load it.

2) Template solution:

Create a template with the clef you need, and save the template.
Use this template when you create new Finale documents.
All new documents created from this template will contain your custom clef.

I stand corrected.

Thanks for the help, it worked quite smoothly with Library.
Cheers
