Hello,

The articulation tool has not the same presentation in 2 different scores. Here you see on attached Articulation 1 and 2.

I use items 38 and 39 on Articulation 2 for one score, that's perfect, the item is placed exactly on the note, with the good size.

In another score I have another presentation, see Articulation 1. I don't find exactly the same items, but 42 and 43, and the order is different. When I place these ones there are too big and not placed on the note. Why ? What's going wrong ?

I would like to have always Articulation 2 for all my scores.

Thank you for your help.

A simple solution:

In the score with the “perfect” articulations, add an extra measure.
You can delete this measure when you are done.

In the extra measure, enter a note, and attach the two “perfect” articulations to the note.

Selection Tool.
Select the extra measure, and Copy it.

Open the other score, add an extra measure, and Paste the copied music into the extra measure.
Save.
Now you can delete the extra measure.
If you now look in the Articulation Selection, you will find the two “perfect” articulations at the bottom of the dialog box.

Thank you Peter. I followed your steps, but it doesn't work, see the attached with both scores.

What I need is the Left and Right Parenthesis U+0028 and 29, I will see if I find it in the wrong score. The difference is the font, the perfect is Maestro Font, the other is Engraver, I must change something in the document, I will try to find ....

It's ok now, I changed the font on Document/Set default music font to Maestro.

And then I changed the values of positioning, took from the "perfect" articulation, see attached.

Perhaps my explanation was not clear enough.

I wrote:

My words “at the bottom of the dialog box” mean that you will see, not only the “imperfect” articulations in the slots #42 and #43, but also way below two other articulations, in some “high number” slots (like e. g. #69 and #70).

That's true Peter, I understand and can see it now, but new slots 77 and 78 were created in the same font of the "wrong" score (Engraver), so there are not the same of the "perfect" score (Maestro font). See attached.

Your solution doesn't work.

You must change the font (Engraver to Maestro), like I did.
