I'm making a big band score and trying to shrink the chord symbols so that it can fit. I used Document Options -- Chords -- Scale all chords by (60%). They did scale down. However, the space between the components of a chord didn't scale down. So there's ugly big space between them. And it doesn't help with the intention to put more chords in a small space. What should I do? Thank you!

It is a known issue when the percentage of reduction is too important.
One solution : another staff (no staff lines, nothing), reduced with the Resize tool. Chords will be reduced proportionally (Roots and suffixes).

Are the Chord Symbols below the staff?
The slashes are unequal in spacing.
Try putting in quarter rests before making the slashes.
That will make them all look the same.
Small Chord Symbols can be hard to read on the Parts, especially if the player has to stand while soloing.
