mp3 export

I'm seeing .wav as the only option. I don't know what happened to mp3, it probably disappeared after a recent update. Where should I look to fix this?

Do you have Play through MIDI or Play thru Audi Units selected?
On a Mac, you can only do an MP3 from MIDI. Is Windows the same?

Midi is Soft Synth isn't it?
If you want an mp3 of Garritan Sounds, export to wav or aiff, open in iTunes, convert to mp3 there.
I don't know why only wav or Midi is available for you.

I have play through midi selected in device setup. I know I can export to wav and convert externally to mp3, but not long ago I was always able to export as mp3.
