I notice that the print dialog in my version of Finale has "Collate copies," but no way of printing more than one copy that I can see. Not a big deal (I rarely print to paper directly from Finale), but odd.

I'm not sure I understand. Now, in your picture, it says 1. Change that to 2, or 3, or whatever. Am I missing something?

Oh, duh, I see! In my defense, the number of copies is usually in a box by itself, not in the list of what to print, but I guess this is more flexible, if non-standard.

Good. My Print Dialogue Box doesn't have collate, however. I think I can set it in my printer settings, however.

Huh! What happens if you click the (contextual) Help button? In my case (2014.5), Collate is in the picture, as you can see below, and the text says, "You can control whether just odd or even pages print, and you can control how the pages print—in reverse order, or collated, or tiled. You can also print ranges of pages, include registration and crop marks on each page, and print one, two, or four pages of music on one printed page," but the box doesn't have an individual description like everything else.

Aha moment. I was opening the Default file, which has one page. Once I added measures and a second page appeared, then Collate showed up.

I never use the convoluted Finale print box except to make a pdf. When my Finale decided to stop even displaying the print dialog box I learned different ways to print. After market pdf editors, some free, and from Adobe are what I use.
