is there a feature for displaying the metronome count?

Do you mean something other than the tempo marking in the Playback window? If perhaps you don't see that, click the expansion triangle in the bottom let corner.

Or do you mean a display of the count-off? (I mean shown in the layout)

The count-off is created “on the fly” - it is not saved in the Finale document.

You can enter the count-off in the layout - so that the count-off shown (displayed), and saved in the document.
