JW and PATTERSON not working with Catalina?

Since COVID, I haven't had to open Finale. :(

Anyway ... I updated to Catalina a few weeks ago and today opened Finale 26.3.1 and it threw me errors on all my JW and PATTERSON plugs. I removed those folders from my Plugins folder and Finale opened and worked fine.

Are those plugs not available for Catalina?
Finale v26, Digital Performer 9, ProTools 12. Mac.

They are available, but you may have to go through an Apple security rigmarole. A solution is shown here (scroll down a bit) viewtopic.php?f=5&t=18525.

I think there's a video somewhere showing what to do. Perhaps someone can provide a link to it. It seems there might also be a slightly different approach that works, but again someone will need to point to it (if it does indeed exist).
