I've modified the dynamic expressions in a music document and saved them to the Expressions Library in the Maestro font.
When I open that library in a new document, instead of replacing the existing default library it adds all the expression categories to the end of the list of default expressions.
So I end up with duplicate names. Is there a way to delete the old default expression categories?
Cheers,
Jer

Not as far as I know. The only option I can think of might be to start with a doc without libraries, and add in the ones you want. Or (in your Document Styles docs) delete the expressions you don't want, and add in your own.
We have long asked for a way to see which libraries are loaded, and to have more control over them.

Thanks, Miker.
I've been doing the latter: Saving the altered library, loading into the other documents, transferring the contents to each of the categories in the default libraries, and then deleting the empty new categories.
Cheers,
Jer

I've never understood why this works so poorly. To get around it, I have my own default documents that I set up with the libraries I want.
