I just switched to v26, Windows 10. While entering notes in single guitar TAB, simple entry, I am unable to use the numeral pad to change the note value. It works while using standard notation. Is there a setting I can change so I can use the numeral pad to change note values when I am in single TAB only?

Thanks.

There isn't a way to do what you want with Simple on the TAB staff. You can do this in the Speedy Entry Tool.

My apology. "Ctrl+Alt+Numberpad Number" gets what you want. I didn't look deeply enough when you first asked.

Thanks. I am not able to check this out yet but I hope that code you gave me does not have to be applied for each note entry! I'll check it out later. And thanks again for getting back to me. The process was very simple in the earlier version of Finale.
