Random re-draw issues...

Anyone know why this happens sometimes? I can't seem to replicate the issue in other files, but it's definitely not the first time that this has happened, where one page of my file will suddenly disappear. If I zoom in, or out, it comes back, but...if I want to view my file in Page View at 100%, I just get an empty page...

(I tried to attach an image, but I'm getting an error message saying that my 800KB image is too large...anyone else having issues uploading attachments?)

I have experienced that blank redraw once in recent weeks and am using the latest Mac OS and latest Finale. I've occasionally seen it in the past with older OS's and Finale versions, too. I think I use Command D and then if that doesn't help, I open a New Window and close the mischievous one. Not sure what the cause is, though I think I may recall something like it happening in MS Word sometimes.

Unfortunately I faced the same issue last week, too.
I could not find any practical solution.

I discovered that it had something to do with one of my measures. It had a lot of grace notes in it, and for some reason, it was causing the redraw problem. I only discovered it by accident...but when I did, I simply deleted the measure, and entered it again from scratch, but this time...no redraw problem. Must be something in how I entered the notation initially that caused an issue, but since I entered it exactly the same again, not sure why this happened.

Did you save the old one? The two could be compared by using the frame editor.

I also found the solution by chance, as well as keeping in mind "grace note(s)" from your experience.

Here is what I did:

I started clearing (with "clear button" from num-pad on Mac keyboard) each staff and checking again in whole page view.
Finally I found that a grace note on the third staff results this issue.
It was an 1/8 stemless grace note. I deleted it and input it again.

Now the page looks fine.
