I did the stupidest thing ever today. I named my new file same as the old file. When I was trying to save it, Finale asked me if I'd like to replace the old file and I clicked "yes".
Is there any chance I could get the old file back?

It probably saved your old file, changing the name from .musx to .bakx. If it's not in the same folder as the file you replaced, look in Preferences/Folders, to see where it's putting backup files.

The bak file will be a no-go since it is made when you save the work file. However there is a chance that the auto save file is still in tact. Look in that folder and cross your fingers.
