Title says it all. I'm setting Mendelssohn Octet third movement and want long sustained notes not to make an automatic cresc.-decresc. I'm using Garritan library FWIW.

That's an option in HP Preferences, I believe. It might depend on the instrument. Another thing to consider is Automatic Expression in the specific HP Style. Choose Custom to uncheck that. If I had a sample file to check, I could probably find the culprit.
