I cannot find a couple of TG Tools menus.
Is there a way to sort of lock these menus into a place so they can always be found?
I use two monitors rotated to portrait position. In the past when I lost these menus I usually was able to find them by enlarging the Finale window. However, that isn't working.
I have tried resizing the score, optimizing or resizing the window, dragging the Finale display in various locations.
I also tried resetting Preferences to Default. No success thus far.
I tried opening as many of these TGTools -related menus as possible and locating them at the bottom of the monitors with edges visible on both -- in hopes they'd remember their place. They didn't.
Any suggestions?
Many thanks.

I tried enlarging and reducing to 25%, maximizing, and also pulling the view across both monitors.
I had this situation a couple of times in the past, and eventually I found the TGTools menu box hovering around the far edge.
But such a hide-n-seek game is an unsatisfactory solution, and in this case, I can't find the menu no matter what.
If there some default file I could remove, the reload Finale (or even reboot, then reload) that would reset these menus to their default location?
Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

Which TGTools windows are you talking about? The couple I tried didn't remember their locations.
TGTools stores stuff in the Windows registry in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SOMUSQUE. I suppose you could try deleting that from the registry. You'd probably have to re-enter your registration code. The safest thing to do in case that didn't work would be to save a copy of that key before deleting it.

I have had this problem with both Plugin-ins/TGTools submenus and with TGTools as well (Pro version 3.00rc8).
If I ever find these menus again, I shall try to locate them in the lowest visible corner straddling both monitors. . . that is, if I ever find them.
I can try deleting the registry key and see what happens.
Do you think it would make more sense to reinstall Finale? (i.e., not uninstall/reinstall, just reinstall over the files I already have?)
Thanks for your reply.

When all else fails. . . . reinstall the software.
I did, and it even remembered the locations of my detached tool windows.
And . . . it found the missing Plugin/TG Tools submenus.
Thanks.
