I can't seem to figure out how to hide rests and time sig. For time sig I had copied this instruction "measure tool, measure attributes. there you can hide time signature..." but it doesn't work. See attached. Thanks.

Two Different Methods for hiding the Time Signature.

Regarding rests, I wasn't sure what you want. Do you mean the Default rests? If so, then the third file also shows that.

For the time signature, selected "Always hide" in the measure attributes. For the default whole rests, uncheck "Display rests in empty measures" in the staff attributes for each staff (staff tool).

Where is " measure attributes?" I don't see it in the Measure menu. (v26)

With either the SelectionTool or the Measure Tool, right click any measure and at the top of the list that appears is "Edit Measure Attributes". Click on that and there you are. Or, in the Measure Tool, double-click on a measure.

When you are in the Measure Tool, double-click a measure, to get to its Measure Attributes.

Similarly, when you are in the Staff Tool, double-click a staff, to get to its Staff Attributes.

Both the Measure Attributes and the Staff Attributes can hide time signature.
The difference is that
- a measure goes vertically through all the staves (= Measure Attributes can hide time signature in that measure only, in all the staves),
- a staff goes horizontally through all the measures (= Staff Attributes can hide time signature in that staff only, in all the measures.

The "Global Staff Attributes" plugin allows you to de-select the option to show the Time Signature, as well as the option to show the default whole rests, on any or all staves at once.
