Change Standard Frame Defaults?

Every time I add a standard frame to text I have to manually change the Line Thickness, Round Corners and Inset Text settings to what I want. I cannot find a way to save these so that my chosen settings are used by default - is this possible?

There doesn't appear to be. Possibly make a suggestion to add a Save As Default checkbox, similar to the triplet dialogue.
Nothing will come of it, of course, but you can at least feel that you made the effort!

Thanks miker. I guess I'll have to continue doing it manually then - a right pain as I'm inserting hundreds of instrument cue names into a vocal/conductor score. Sometimes I can use Copy/Paste with Text items only active - but this is still not an ideal solution. The inability to be able to set defaults is a strange omission IMO. I will raise a suggestion to add it - who knows, someone at MakeMusic might agree it's worth adding.
It would be great to think that should there ever be a new version of Finale it might contain some visible improvements/fixes rather than "under the hood maintenance" that was apparently in the last one. However, given the total lack of updates since 17 June 2020, I am not sure that MakeMusic are really interested in developing the software any more.

Rounded corners are indeed possible. Select a rectangle as an enclosure shape, click "Edit", and in the Enclosure Designer dialog box you can select "Round Corners" and a radius:
I strongly support the suggestion to use expressions instead of text blocks.

I must admit it never occurred to me to use expressions instead of text blocks - that's definitely a better solution than what I've been doing. Thank you.
