Is it possible to change document style within an already created document?

Finale offers a different set of articulations e.g. with the (orchestral) Engraved style which I need in a document that was set up with the (orchestral) Maestro style. Is it possible to port that set of articulations to the document I'm working in, rather than creating every single articulation from scratch?

Possibly importing a Library. There would still be work to be done. Copying/pasting into an Engraved style document is something else to consider. There are maybe other approaches. No matter what you do there will be work. For just articulations, then the Library method would be the least work, I think.

I doubt it will change what's already there. Make yourself templates with the styles and settings you want and use them.

If there is a lot of work already done, I would set up a new document and try to copy/paste into it, to save time. That sometimes works. One can change fonts and make the changes in an existing file, but it depends on what's been done and what needs to be changed. I suppose our advice would be more specific if we could see a sample of the file in question.

Yes, in this case the 'Load Library' method will be enough for what I need.

Hi, I just stumbled in here bc I ran into a surprise. When I began with Finale, I avoided Setup Wizard in favor of Default Document. Now I go back to some ancient docs (v.2014.5) to add a percussion instrument as a metronome -- I'd rather not use Finale Clicks. I get an error message complaining about Document Style, and although the new instrument appears and lets me assign an instrument to it and populate it with notes, it won't sound. I may have a lot of these to do, so is there a quick fix? All help appreciated!
