In m. 11-14 I'd like to reduce the size of the low 8ve, leaving the normal size the superior 8ve.

I appreciate your always valuable help

The file doesn't seem to be a Finale file, so i can't look at what you have. Anyway, you can resize individual notes in octaves. Just resize the notehead, not the note. The JW Change plugin makes this easy.

The file size is only 265 Bytes.
That is a very small file.

I suspect file corruption.

.rar is some sort of compression, I think.

Zuill, I solved with a plug in,as you said.

Then the route is:
1) Select measure 11
2) Plugs-in Menu/ Note, Beam and Rest editing/ Resize noteheads/
From top of the chord
Number of the notehead: 2
Resize: 75%
