Hi, I am interested in having a second stave join the existing stave in my piece, mid way through a system. So I add a second stave like normal, then optimize, which is great. But now I'd like the beginning of the second stave to only appear in the center of the system (center of the page) on the system where it first has notes...

is this possible?

Thank you!

Use a staff style to hide the staff in some measures only. It is called "Hide staff" and should be present in the staff styles list. Select the region and apply it.
If it is not available, create it.

Thank you for this tip. Now, how can I make the left barline in the middle of this system go through all the staves, so that it looks like the beginning of the system.
