I'm having trouble with an audio file that is being loaded into the program. The initial file was a wave file but finale said that it could not import that type of file. I then converted it to an MP3 format but when it loaded into the program, it plays back at a different tempo and pitch. I've tried loading other music files into the program and the same thing happened. I have not had this issue before.

This may have to do with a different sampling rate in Finale. Check the Midi/Audio menu -> Device setup -> Audio Setup (44.100 is the most common value).

It's set to 48 but when I got to change it to 44, it switches it back.

I had to restart my computer. Seems to have fixed the problem.
