I'm looking for a way to mark notation for learning instrumentalists (violinists). I want to be able to color notes according to the string that the player needs to play on. In order to do that, one would simply need more octaves in the color noteheads settings.
Is that something that the developers of Finale might consider doing? Perhaps there are more people who may have use for this function.

Every time this comes up, the consensus seems to be to do that to a PDF of your file in a graphics program.

Thanks,
Could you link me to the past thread. I couldn't find it. Maybe someone had a tip on the quickest way to achieve that.
