In the attached file, between measures 52-53 and 53-54, the first half of ties in the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th staves is missing. How do I get them to show? They are in places where there are meter changes, in case that means something.
Thanks,
Mark

Can't find the cause. Redrawing brings them back. As you mentioned, it only affects the ones being broken by the TS. I can't reproduce this in a fresh document. Sometimes things like this happen with documents created in earlier versions. This looks like this document started in Finale 2011.

Thanks for your help. If by redrawing, you mean eliminating the ties and then re-adding them, that's not working for me. Also, I tried deleting the notes and re-entering them with fresh ties; alas, it didn't work, either. Darn!zuill wrote: ↑Thu Jun 10, 2021 8:56 pmCan't find the cause. Redrawing brings them back. In Windows, it's Ctrl-D to redraw the screen. Just scrolling up or down also refreshes the screen. That's what I meant. It would be nice to know the cause.

Oh, got it! Alas, that doesn't work in this case. I guess I will opt for not having the ties break for the time signature.

This behavior doesn't seem to happen in the parts. When I copy paste your file into new document, this behavior doesn't seem to manifest itself. So, maybe you might want to try that. Sometimes exporting to XML and then opening that fixes these kind of things. However, you'll lose some formatting.
Also, this doesn't happen in Scroll View.

In my copy of Finale, they only disappear when I run over the barline in Speedy entry, and they reappear when exiting Speedy. When I print to PDF, they're there. Perhaps just live with it, since it appears to be only a display anomaly?

You're absolutely right! They print out just fine. Yay, and thank you!
