Hi,
I'm new to the forum, but I have been using Finale for a number of years. There is one thing that I can't figure out how to do, and I'm wondering if you could help me find an answer.
When I have finished a piece, but then decide that I'd like to include an intro, I would like to be able to insert a staff line at the beginning, and move all the others down a notch. Normally, I insert a measure stack of the required number, and then I have to go line by line to shuffle the measures down. :(

Welcome to the forum!

Do not use the command Insert Measure Stack.
As you have found out, this will push the system layout by one system.

Instead, use the Page Layout Tool to Insert a Staff System before the first system.

Thank you Peter! That is what I’ve been looking for. You have saved me so much time.
