Dear kind and illustrious Finale gurus,

I am using Finale 25.5.

My question is thus (please reference this image: https://imgur.com/a/YLmJzcN):

Notice how the gap between pages 1 and 2 is so much larger than the (nearly nonexistent) gap between pages 2 and 3. How may I normalize the gap length or choose one for all gaps between pages?

Thank you very kindly,

screen317

If you upload your file here, we can check the system margins to see what can be done.

I'm not sure that I follow you. The gap between pages 1 and 2 is much smaller than that between 2 and 3. Anyway, you could adjust the placements of the staff systems in Page layout tool, like this:

Thank you for your reply.

I should clarify: Please see the red boxes in this image for a better idea of what I mean:

This is just how Finale, quite logically, presents left and right pages. Between a spread (left-right) and the next there is a gap. This doesn't show in print in any way.

screen317:

The page margin settings determine that method of alternating. You can make them all the same instead in the Page Layout Tool.

So to confirm, there is no way to change this? It has nothing to do with printing here; rather, just the display.

This is only changing the amount of each page that material is shown on rather than changing the distance of the gap between each page. Is there perhaps something I am missing?

Aha. Now I see what you are talking about. That would be a setting in the View Menu. Choose Looseleaf Style Row and see what that does.

Reviving this. So, referring to the OP initial request, there is no way to change the gap between pages in Page View? I realise there are predefined settings as Zuill pointed out (in View) but is it possible to set the horizontal gap between page 1 and page 2 to, for example, 1 inch, in "Book Style: Row"?
