Hello. I need to get some musical numbers mixed and mastered. My instructions were.

You have to send all the tracks separated. Each one on its own wav file.

How do I do this.

Use the Mixer or the Instrument List to solo the parts you want. Export. Rinse and repeat.

Just be aware: if you are using HP, the file lengths my vary. If so, you will have trouble syncing them up. If that happens, start over and either 1) Turn off HP, or 2) Hardwire the HP data, turn HP off, then export.

The sync issue can be a real headache. What seems to help is muting all the instruments in the mixer except one then save the document as a WAV file. Repeat the step, muting all but the next instrument. In this manner you save each instrument as the same audio file according to the timing of the top staff. In your DAW, the waveform of each instrument should appear aligned where intended. If you want perfect synchrony, disable rhythmic feel, rubato and mood in HP.
