Hi,
Up until F26 increasing the space between a pair of composite time signatures from which the plus sign had been removed (for instance, to place parentheses around the second one) was a reasonably straightforward affair.
However, in F27, when you get to the point of increasing the font size between the signatures in Document Options>Fonts>Notation>Time Signature Plus Sign>Set Font nothing at all happens regardless of what font size you try.
MM confirmed I followed the correct steps and have confirmed the issue but unfortunately cannot offer a solution. Has anyone else noticed this? I've attached a sample file.

Ah: I see what's going on: you've chosen a glyph with no width as your replacement for the + sign. So whatever the font size, it stays the same.
If you replace it with U+0020 (a space), then it works. Here shown at 64pt!
The other thing you could do is change the + character for a left parenthesis (U+E094), leaving only the right hand side to be faked with an expression or some such. (Though there's no way to change the spacing between the elements.)
Of course, one could argue that all of this (and the associated positioning of brackets in the right place) ought to be unnecessary as Finale should provide native support for brackets around composite time sigs.
