Another "HyperScribe not recording" issue

I've seen a couple of threads where the author is unable to record.
I choose 2 bars countoff, the start signal is standard sustain pedal. When I depress the sustain pedal the click starts. I wait for two measures and start playing. I can hear the notes I'm playing but the recording box just stays in the measure where I chose to start the recording and nothing is recorded.
My specs are in the signature.
