Hi all,
I have a piece in 4/4 and it has lots of the following: dotted quaver beamed to a semiquaver.

When I copy that and paste to another bar, it notates a quaver tied to a semiquaver followed by a semiquaver.

Is there a way to paste without the adjustment? I had a look in Document Options, but no cigar.

Cheerio, hope you are all going well.
Hector.

Try looking at the Quantization settings about dotted rests. I know that doesn't seem to apply, but worth a try.

Thank you, zuill! I will have a look in there. I had not noticed that menu item till now... Incidentally, it reminds me that I should make more use of hyperscribe!
Cheers,
Hector.

It's pasting correctly now after I fingerpoked with the quantize and hyperscribe settings.
Thanks, zuill!
Cheers,
