Greetings!

Can someone remind me please how to set up first and second time bars with the brackets already separated? This useful tip was on the Forum some time ago but I can’t seem to find it.

Many thanks

Document Options > Repeats > Repeat Endings

Note: this is easily done in the current versions., but in 2011, you would have to enter distance for the ending bracket offset.

Greetings Miker!

Many thanks – I’ve now sorted this and the 1st and 2nd time bars look much better. It was a question of going to Document Options > Repeats > Repeat Endings like you said, but the next box to use is labelled Inset for End of Bracket. After a few experiments, I entered 0.2cm which looks just fine.

Another question now - is there a way of automatically lowering the 1 and 2 figures so their heads aren’t touching the tops of the brackets?

Greetings again!

Thanks – got it! Sorry to be so slow to understand. I actually did put some figures in the Ending Repeat Text boxes earlier today but nothing significant seemed to be happening. Now after some trial and error, I find that 0.15cm in the horizontal box and 0 cm in the vertical box both work.

Thanks again,

Andreo B
