I was working very long time with Finale 2014,5. Everything was OK, even exporting from Finale to PDF
Was contacting with customer support and they was amazed, as they never saw such thing. We had very long mailing and they had no idea what to do. But I need to come out from this situation. What I need to do to get same result from Finale exporting to PDF like I had in 2014?
Then I decided to get Finale 27. Everything was great till started exporting to PDF for prinhouse and result is here
Soon found out that there is one more option, printing to PDF
Most important thing is that page is in Custom size. Why i cant get the same result with 27 as was with 2014?Was contacting with customer support and they was amazed, as they never saw such thing. Customer support has probably never seen such a thing because they fail to test properly.
Creating PDF from the Graphics tool doesn't render text in quite the right place on Windows. It seems to work better on the Mac. But it may be good enough for you, or not apply to you document.
One thing to try is to make sure the page size in Document/Page format/Score matches your actual pages, which could have been changed with the Page Layout tool.

My suggestions:
Try a different printer driver, as I have an idea that it may play a part in PDF export.
Also, another thing to try might be to export as a postscript file, then convert that to a PDF.
Hope these ideas might help... good luck in any case!
Cheers,
Hector.

Exported file as TIFF file and converted it then to PDF. Perfect!Hector Pascal wrote: ↑Fri Aug 13, 2021 10:21 amMy suggestions:

A PDF made from TIFF, though, will be a raster image as opposed to a vector image, so oblique lines and curves may not be as smooth, depending on your printer. Try it both ways and compare with a magnifying glass. The file will be larger as well.

Whoever will in such situation in the future, just short overview. Made lot of testing, reinstalled drivers etc... Finally found reason why it is so buggy. Problem is like always in Microsoft, more specifically - Microsoft Print to PDF is just very buggy. Microsoft itself denied this fact to Finale. I was trying different analogues to Microsoft Print to PDF, they all failed till I reached to CutePDF Writer and now everything is working perfectly.

Ah, good. You had said here that CutePDF didn't work:
and CutePDF got the error
ERROR: undefined
OFFENDING COMMAND: Hebrew
STACK:
Changing from EPS to PDF fixed it, though, and in general CutePDF is error-free.
By the way, I found something the other day that CutePDF couldn't do, but Microsoft Print to PDF could: I had this embedded in my Finale file as EPS
and CutePDF got the error
