Hey all!

This is my first time using independent time signatures (it's just 3/4 and 9/8 at the same time) and I'm having a little trouble getting crescendos / diminuendos to stay where I put them. Right now, they're in the independent staves. They keep moving like a beat out of phase, and then when I click on them, they just jump back to where I had placed them. Moments later, they're back in the wrong spot. How can I get them to stay put?

Thanks!

It's an known problem. The best way I've found is to draw them in a non-independent staff, then copy them to the independent staff with the copy filter.

I would suggest using tuplets in order to fit the "visual" beats and avoid the bug.
On second or "independent staff" you may apply any kind of time signature by checking "Use a different time signature for display", but keeping the "proper" TS for the same bar.

BTW, I always use 4/16 per beat instead of 1/4 (in this case the TS is 4+4+4+4/16) in order to attach the hairpins not to the beat but (almost) free hand!
