tuplet dynamics resolved

Well guys, thank you for all your suggestions. I decided to let go of my ego
and go for the attached solution. Prokofiev also uses it in his piano sonata #5, middle mvt.
Problem is, though, I can't seem to enter the hairpin in meas.2. Also I can't tilt it upward
towards the last note.

I don't know why you can't enter the hairpin as I can enter either sort of hairpin anywhere in your file with ease.

To tilt the hairpin, right click on its main handle, untick ‘Make Horizontal’ then drag its end handle and reposition as you wish.

OK, I got the part about unticking Make Horizontal. Also, I can create a hairpin in the following measure and copy paste it where I need it, but I can't create it at the place where I need it. Still working on this.

Do you have Snap to Grid turned on?

I don't understand Snap to Grid at all, sorry. However I CAN draw a hairpin onto the staff, not in the space between staves. However in the following measure (3) I CAN draw a hairpin in between the staves. I just don't get it.

Note the appearance of the cursor when you go to draw it. It points up or down. That shows which staff it will be drawn on.Since your notes are low, you'll need to draw it above where you want it, then drag it down after it's drawn. I suspect you're trying to do it with the arrow pointing down, and since that's past the last note in the bottom staff, you can't.
