Hello there,

I am trying to open, edit, and save a 2008 Finale file with Finale v26.

When I am trying to save by v26, it says "this file is read only so that cannot save."

How can I reset such "read only" status of the file on Finale v26 (because I do not maintain Finale 2008 any more).

Right-click on the file with Windows Explorer and pick Properties and see if it's set to Read-only. If not, look at the Security tab.
