When I go into expression tool lately I'm seeing the size of the symbols fluctuating (such as with the dynamics, mf, f, pp, etc.) They've been HUGE all of a sudden. I adjust with the + and - but it goes right back to huge the next time I use it. I can't find a global setting for the default size.....where is it? Haven't had this issue before so I'm not sure where to look. Thanks.

Mike, I mean in the window. So normally where I get the full range of choices with one click, I get one gigantic MF or something. Motet, I will try that now.

bj, does the magnifying glass icon change the size? That’s actually a feature that many have asked for; the ability to resize the glyphs themselves. Previously, using the magnifying glass would enlarge the frame, but not the glyph. No help at all!

Yes, it works fine if you want to zoom in or out, that's what I was having to do each time, but the suggestion worked well: shut down finale and go back in and now everything is fine again. It's like the old joke about what does the computer engineer do if his house is on fire? He leaves the house and then walks back in.

Yes, that's always my first instinct. In this case I did it lazy man style, I just closed the piece and then opened it again and that didn't work. I had about three pieces open that I was working on, switching off, and the lazy way didn't do it.

I can't imagine ever setting it to large myself. Apparently someone broke into my home and changed the setting, attempting to gaslight me.
