Where is the articualtions stack spacing determined?
Can you change this distance?
Thanks...

Hi Mendoza, I would like to know that, too.
Here is where I think the answer may lay... though after wading through it I am not much the wiser.

Here is an example of my accent which is being forced too high by the slur. I hazard to guess that I shall need to adjust such accents manually.
Cheers,
HP.

Hector,
Interesting that I don't have that problem with the accent and slur in either 26 or 27. You might check settings in the Articulation Designer for the accent to see if something got changed. For me, Distance from entry (I assume it is the default setting) is 0.04861.

Hi Bill,
Thanks for the tip. My accent "distance from entry" setting, says 0.12347
I don't remember changing it, but maybe I did! I wonder if anyone else can chime in with their "default" setting for the accent?
Even with my setting of 0.12347, most accents above a slur in my score are ok, it's just a few that misbehave and they don't want to be nudged.

PS: motet, noted

Thanks for your answers.
Now the problem has become clear to me as well:
In the case of stacked articulations that are positioned UNDER the notes, the stacking distance is no longer correct if you change their font size.
In the case of stacked articulations that are positioned ABOVE the notes, the stack spacing is correct, even if their font size is changed.
The following sheet music samples are from my accordion sheet music.
To practice, I create a screen version of the music with a larger font for fingering (easy on the eyes, I'm sitting about 1.5 m away from the monitor).
It was only then that I noticed the problem mentioned.
As long as you use the font sizes specified by Finale, you won't notice it.
I know that the examples are partly exaggerated font sizes, but this is how it becomes clear.
Did I miss something?
Thanks and Greetings
