Greetings!

I have recently upgraded to Adobe Acrobat X Standard to produce all my pdfs and usually it is excellent – especially when I need to combine files.

Today, I noticed that it doesn’t like the ‘segno’ sign and prints ‘fi’ instead (which means ‘shame’ in Esperanto!). I’ve tried this sign in three fonts: Shpflatnat, Opus and Maestro, but all three give me ‘fi’. Can anything be done to get this segno back? It worked OK in my previous version of Adobe on my other computer.

Thanks!

Does it work correctly in other PDF printers?

Greetings Miker!

Many thanks for your suggestion. I tried saving with CutePDF and it worked - the segno sign has is there and I've still managed to combine this document with another via Adobe Acrobat, so looks like you've hit the nail on the head!

I've just got to remember that if my file has a segno sign in it, to save with CutePDF and not directly through Adobe...
