Is it possible to add chords all at once in a selected region?

If you have them already in a section, you can copy and paste them to a new section. Use the Filter to restrict the copy/paste to Chords.

Thanks, yes. But specifically, I am writing tunes with oompah or oompahpah bass lines consisting of low ooms and 3-note pahs. I split the ooms from the pahs to separate staves with TG Tools Smart Split Point plug-in (what a blessing that is). That leaves a mile of pure 3-note pah chords, which Finale chords understands completely, but apparently only one at a time. It is hard to believe that applying chords to them isn't a (region-based) Utility. Its close cousin, tablature, does the whole thing in 1 operation.
The Chord Analysis Plug-in is region-based.

Wow -- thanks for that, HaraldS! Exactly what I was looking for. Now I see that had I searched the User Manual for the simple term "chord region" that it comes up. And it has some nice options. I note that the "Chords" entry in the manual doesn't mention the plug-in -- there is "Chord analysis" in the Chord Tool, but not by region. Well, great that the region utility exists, but can be hard to find.
