I'm having a devil of a time figuring out how to create partial scores midway through an orchestra piece, so I can have more than one system per page (juat few instruments playing at a time). I've been using Finale for ages, but I can't find the answer to this one.

On the Staff tool menu, you can Hide Empty Staves. Select the staves and systems you want first.
