How do you combine 2 or more staves into one part? I am editing my Organ Concerto, and so far, the organ gets separated into 3 separate parts, instead of having all three staves on the same part.

I know it can be done, because I did this when I wrote the piece back in 1997. But I can't figure out how, and I can't find any information in the manual that explains how to do it.

Thanks,

Mark

You do that in Document > Manage Parts by combining staves into one part.

Or create a group of 3 staves (via the staff menu). When you generate parts, a part will include all 3.
N.B.: give the group a name, but don't give a "Full name" (leave it empty) to the 3 individual staves. Otherwise the group won't appear in the list of parts. Abbreviated names are fine.
If you still need these 3 staff names, 3 staff styles (Full name filled in) can be applied to the first measure of the 3 staves.
