playback pallette too small

I am using a two monitor set up (laptop/external), Finale v26, windows 10

No matter what resolution I choose on the larger monitor, the playback control strip is smaller than everything else. It is also offset, meaning I have to push the record button for play and the play button for stop, etc.

When I use finale on just my laptop no issue, only when I put it on the bigger monitor.

Yes, I have tried checking 'large tool pallete' box didn;t help - everything got bigger except playback

Yes, I have tried exiting and restarting finale

Yes, I have tried re-installing finale from my last upgrade/download

Any thoughts? Bigger monitor only goes up to HD (19xx by 1080).

When you reinstalled, did you delete the old installation, first?

Have you tried recreating the preference files?
