Just wondering how to write for bass flute when I don't see it offered as an instrument in Finale. I'll be working on a flute choir piece and it needs to be included. Thanks for any guidance.

Select Flute in the setup-wizard, then change the transposition to "Up Octave" in the Score Manager. If you are using Garritan instruments, there's a Bass Flute choice for Sound. For Midi, the regular Flute sound should work.

Interesting.....I didn't see bass flute anywhere, but now that I switched it to "All," I do see it under "woodwinds." And it's actually available for NP3. I tried it and it sounds pretty good, too. So this works, and I'm good. Thanks!
