This is really weird: mm. 129-132 in this score are there in scroll view, but they disappear in score view--that is, they just show as empty space between two systems.

I'm attaching the score as well as a screenshot of the pages where the measures are missing, in case it doesn't show the same way when you look at the score.

Can anyone figure out why this is happening and help me get those missing measures to show up?

Thanks,

Mark

Curious that I get the same blank space as you, but if I increase the zoom with cmd-+ it shows up.

What is the zoom level where it doesn't appear (look at the View menu)?

OK Same thing here. If I increase the zoom level, the missing system appears.

But how do you know what percentage of view you're on? I can't find anywhere that indicates that.

In any case, I started at 100%, and it didn't show. Then I did command+ one time, and it still didn't show, but I did it a second time, and it did show.

Regardless, isn't it strange that I this is happening?

View menu, Zoom with show if you're using one of the preset zooms or "other." If other, pick that and look.

View menu > Zoom > …

If the current zoom is Custom Zoom 1, Custom Zoom 2, or Custom Zoom 3, then the Zoom sub-menu will show a check mark at the custom zoom.

If the current zoom is not one of the 3 Custom Zooms, then the Zoom sub-menu will show a check mark at the menu item Other… - and by choosing Other…, you will get to the dialog box Zoom which reveals the current zoom.

Thank you. In that case, it was at 150% that the missing measures reappeared.

150% is when the missing measures reappeared.

As it turns out, they print out fine, whether they are onscreen or not.

I was asking what the offending zoom rate was so I could see if my version had the problem. The zoom rate at which all is ok is not so helpful.

OK I tested it in 1% increments below 150%. Those measures start disappearing at 141% and totally disappear at 138%.

I’m not sure if this is at all related since the situations are somewhat different, but I’ve found in some cases when I create a document in F27.x and use a SMuFL font, the first system is blank other than the time signature unless and until I zoom in a bit. At first it understandably freaked me out because I thought all my work was somehow lost, but it reappeared once I pinched out to zoom in. Interestingly, the missing notes also are missing if I save as PDF with the graphics tool, unless I pinch out first. I’ve gone back and forth with tech support and it might be a specific set of conditions that cause this, rather than one individual thing (apparently it is not the font, per Support), but your situation did make me think of this. Please report it to support so they can get additional information. It might nor might not be that our problems are related-hard to say. Thanks.

For some reason this forum isn’t taking 1.1-MB image files so here are the links:

OK for me, so it must be related to the Mac and/or Version 26.
