How do I make the staff names look like in the Full Orchestra template?

As you can see, the staff names are just 1,2 (and 3,4). Still, in the Edit Text window it says Horn in F 1,2 plus that the text is not moved vertically as in the score. I've noticed that it takes some experimenting to understand the text formatting when you want to make vertical changes. But there are no vertical changes in the Edit Text window.

(I know that the text in blue is the group name and that it has nothing to do with the staff name.)

If I understand you correctly, your steps are

Window menu > ScoreManager > Instrument List > Horn in F 1 2 > Full Name…

- right?

That's right.

What you see in your Edit Text window is what I expected to see in my Edit Text window.

I attach another image as complement so that you can take a look and see if there's something that can explain it. Maybe this applies to Windows only and not Mac?

Two things to check:

1) Staff Tool.
Double-click on the staff Horn in F 1,2.
In the Staff Attributes, is the Display option {Staff Name in Score} selected or de-selected?

2) Staff Tool.
Staff menu > Show Staff Styles (select this option if it is not selected; you can always de-select it later)
You can also select Show Staff Style Names.
Is there a staff style on the first measure?
If yes, what is it (= what does it do)?
