GameGlass Shard for Finale?

I have been using GameGlass when playing Star Citizen.

For anyone who's not familiar, GG "controls your games in a brand new way, with GameGlass Shards - immersive touchscreen interfaces on your phone and tablet. Shards let you use intuitive touch controls that include dynamic interactions and animations. Switches, buttons, toggles, sliders and more allow you to see your controls laid out clearly. Beautiful designs for a wide variety of game genres make them feel immersive."

Obviously conceived for games, it struck me that there's no reason it couldn't be adapted to productivity software as well. Finale seems like a natural fit. The editor allows shards to be created from scratch. The graphical elements (buttons, switches, sliders) one adds are entirely customizable, so pressing a button within the shard on one's tablet executes a keystroke combination on the computer running the game (or Finale!)

Strikes me as a dream for note entry within Finale.

Has anyone had similar thoughts?

How would that make note entry any easier? How do you currently enter notes?

Sounds similar to Stream Deck Mobile, so I would think that it could be adapted to Finale. Check out JetStream to see what folks have been doing with Stream Deck and Finale.

I don't use Stream Deck Mobile, rather the actual hardware Stream Deck, and the productivity boost in Finale is pretty great, including for note entry (I use Speedy). I actually don't use JetStream all that much, preferring instead to define my own buttons and lay them out in a way that's most logical for me.

Yes. My point exactly... the GG shard editor invites one to layout and rearrange virtual buttons and switches and such in whatever way works best.

That might illuminate the idea just a bit more :D

JetStream is very cool, but I don't think it makes note entry any easier if you have a computer keyboard. If you use QWERTY entry in the Simple Entry tool, the keystrokes to enter notes are minimal. I don't see how they could be improved, other than maybe putting A-G on a keypad. For a tablet, maybe, but Finale doesn't run on a tablet.

Agreed. I don't see anything there that would help me, at all. Admittedly, my needs are limited, though.

Where it excels is for other things, like hairpins, dynamics, etc.
