Hi,

I use the lyric tool a ton for engraving hymns. I typically have my lyrics ready to go in the dialogue box, hyphenated and everything. Then, while in "click assignment" mode, I hold down alt/option and click the first note in the score, which inputs all the syllables note for note. Then I do that for all the verses. This saves a lot of time, but means I have to go back and use the "shift lyrics" tool a good bit, to account for any melismas.

I get slowed up when a hymn has a lot of melismas, and I have to shift the lyrics by clicking one note at a time for all the melismas in each verse, which kills a bit of time when you're trying to crank out a 100+ different hymns, all with four or five (or more) verses.

It would be very convenient if there were some way to shift lyrics for all verses at once, but I haven't been able to figure this out or find any help on it. Does anyone know of a way to do this?

Much obliged.
