I can only make MIDI edits to the violin staff in the MIDI window

No matter which measure in no matter what staff I select I get the first eight measures of the Violin staff in the MIDI edit window. For instance if I double-click a measure in the Flute staff with the MIDI Tool selected, when the MIDI Edit window opens Finale shows me the MIDI values of the violin staff in that region.

Okay, so now I've discovered that I need to use the Studio View. It's odd anyway that I can see the MIDI data of the Violin Staff in Page View. That shouldn't be possible either.

Scroll View also seems to work.
